2 Performance Considerations
2.4 Phototubes Hamamatsu R5900 U
The phototubes are going to be selected in order to guarantee that the quantum efficiency of each tube will be higher than 21% at 420 nm. 150 phototubes have been ordered and will be delivered at CERN by mid-July, while 50 phototubes are already available to the collaboration.
