The ATC electronics are designed to measure, at a level below one photoelectron, the charge measured by the PMT after the emission of Cerenkov light in the aerogel volume. The electronics have been studied and modified at LAPP-Annecy starting from the existing design of TOF electronics developed at INFN-Bologna. Special attention has been given to optimize the performance of the electronics to the low level of signal expected to be produced in ATC (approximately 10 photoelectrons compared to approximately 300 photoelectrons in TOF).
