7 Assembly of detector

Table 7-1 illustrates the planning for the assembly of the ATC. 180 liters of aerogel have been delivered to the Collaboration on April 11, 1997. We are currently doing optical measurements and size measurements. The mechanical design of the modules and the support structure is frozen. We expect to order the components before the end of April and expect to have them delivered before the end of May 1997. Assembly of the detector will be done at CERN while the wrapping of the blocks will be done at ISN-Grenoble. The PMT's were ordered and will be delivered at CERN at the beginning of July 1997. Electronics design has been finalized and orders for components and boards are under way. Last but not least cables and connectors are almost defined.
