A.1 Preliminary Calculation of the Honeycomb plate using finite element Analysis
A.1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this analysis is to calculate stresses and deformations in the honeycomb support plate of the Aerogel Threshold Counter (ATC) due to three load cases applied on the structure. All calculations presented in this note were produced using SYSTUS+, a software package produced by FRAMASOFT+ CSI, Paris La Defence, France).
